TEODORO, GILBERTO EDUARDO "GILBERT" COJUANGCO JR.

AGE: 44
BIRTHDATE: June 14, 1964
SPOUSE: Monica “Nikki” Prieto-Teodoro, Tarlac Representative

VISION OF GOVERNANCE:

“The Philippines must be a stable platform of investment, with strong institutions, peace and order and the efficient delivery of public goods.”

On the “Cojuangco” factor.

On amending the Philippine Constitution. “Ang aking pananaw, hindi lang kailangan ng values or renewal of values or pananaw. Institutions shape behavior. It motivates behavior. And I think our institutions, time and again, people have said they need to be changed.”

On being associated with an “unpopular” president. Hindi ako ganoong klase ng tao… no matter what one says for or against any other administration, history will be the judge.”

NOT A PROPER BAROMETER

IF WE GAUGE A CANDIDATE ON THE BASIS OF HIS OR HER PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS TO THE SEEMINGLY UNPOPULAR PRESIDENT (THOUGH ECONOMICALLY BRILLIANT & SUCCESSFUL) RATHER THAN HIS PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL CAPABILITIES TO LEAD, THEN THIS NATION COULD NOT MOVE FORWARD FROM WHERE IT IS NOW.

UNLESS WE LEARN HOW TO CHOOSE OUR NEXT LEADER WE DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN AND GO TO THE STREETS AGAIN FOR THE SURE FAILURE AND INEFFICIENCY OF THE NEXT PRESIDENT.

RULING A COUNTRY OF CRABS LIKE OURS IS NOT EASY. IT REQUIRES PATIENCE, INTELLECT, WISDOM, AND THE WILLINGNESS TO GAMBLE AND IMPLEMENT UNPOPULAR DECISIONS FOR THE SAKE AND BETTERMENT OF THE GREATER MAJORITY.

WITH REFERENCE TO THE COMMENTS BELOW I COULD SAY THAT THE THIS BELOVED COUNTRY OF CRABS HAS A LONG WAY TO GO...MAYBE NOT IN MY LIFETIME.

ITS TIME TO CHANGE FOLKS. LET'S START IT WITHIN OURSELVES. MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAS.

another cojuangco??? never again.

not so impressive credentials, but if ever he has the heart, be it.
but never a cojuangco again. noy-noy or gilbert, eww!!
hacienda pilipinas is in the offing.

Lakas-Kampi Presidential Bet

1

Ala eh! Look at the guy's list of qualifications, it ranges from the weird and laughable to outright ridiculous!!!

What does this guy think, Filipinos are that stupid? Or is he too stupid to miss the point? I he'd entertain my unsolicited advice, read my lips, "Do you really want that Big Bad Loser tag?" LAKAS bet... lakas talaga ng tama!

Anyway, this must be a good development so this LAKAS NG TAMA party is no longer a threat to our logical and moral bet.

Kaming mga OFW dito sa California, all out to support NONOY FOR PRESIDENT 2010 !!!!!

gilbert teodoro

haayysss! kahit sino pang

HOW ABOUT HIS WEALTH AND PERSONAL INTERESTS?

1) All business interests and wealth of a president are frozen but with statutory guarantee of appraisal of wealth value. This should also apply to immediate relatives.
2) Congress and senate should have no pork barrels. They are given fixed budget for their office for research and administrative works. They should not be expected to draft and propose laws. They are simply to check, study and approve laws. Wala naman kasi sila alam sa batas!
3) Empower departments, professional organizations and sectors to draft and propose laws under public scrutiny.
4) Empower and broaden the function of budget management by appointing think-tanks people which are not associated with any politicians. This department should take charge of the function of today's DILG when it comes to financial matters.
5) National ID system.

Im just curious on how people think

"He was a former Tarlac

"He was a former Tarlac representative, Teodoro voted to dismiss the first impeachment complaint against Pres. Arroyo in 2005 "

tsk tsk tsk...

Gilbert Teodoro

anyone that works with GMA is a big NO

qualified president
