Philippine money supply in January climbed 16.1 percent from a year ago, faster than the 15.6 percent annual rise in December, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said on Friday.
The BSP has said it expects money supply to widen 13 to 14 percent this year.
Money supply is one of many indicators the BSP looks at when reviewing monetary policy.
