Semirara declares dividends of P6 per share

Semirara Mining Corp., a unit of the DMCI Holdings group, is giving away dividends of P6 per share, the company said Monday.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the coal mining company said shareholders on record as of April 20, 2009 will receive their corresponding dividends on May 15, 2009, the company said.
Semirara said that the payout was decided at a special meeting held on the same day, March 30.
Recently, the coal producer said its board had approved investments in sister companies engaged in nickel mining and power generation.
