MANILA - Philippine money supply climbed 13.7 percent in April from a year ago, slower than the 15.6 percent annual rise in March, the central bank said on Wednesday.

Money supply is one of many indicators the central bank looks at when setting policy rates because of its impact on inflation.

The central bank cut its policy rates by a quarter percentage point last week to 4.25 percent for overnight borrowing. It will meet next month to review policy rates.
